Next, he gets out of one pool and grabs a female and they both decide to dive off a diving board connotation: The connotation would be to show that their jeans are long lasting and can go through the wash and still be in perfect condition and the impression they try to give the audience is that if you wear these jeans then you will be irresistible by females. Also the reason they got a quite healthy male is to create the impression that all males want to look like that.

Honda cog advert Denotation: This advert shows different Honda mechanical parts that are on a car that make a massive domino effect all the way to there product which is a fully built car. The precision of all the parts and the way it was set up must have taken lots of time to make. connotation: The massive domino effect is a really good way they kept the audience looking at the advert because the audience would be on edge to see what happens later and to see if anything was to fail but it doesn't. The amount of time taken to make the adverts suggests that either Honda's are really strong and built to last or that they take long to build because they want to get every last detail to precision for the customer.
