Levi advert


Denotation: 

In this advert it is showing a male who is quite fit wearing a pair of Levi jeans. Then he caries on in the video by diving into different pools in different peoples gardens. Next, he gets out of one pool and grabs a female and they both decide to dive off a diving board

connotation: 

The connotation would be to show that their jeans are long lasting and can go through the wash and still be in perfect condition and the impression they try to give the audience is that if you wear these jeans then you will be irresistible by females. Also the reason they got a quite healthy male is to create the impression that all males want to look like that.

Lara Croft The character Lara Croft is from the game franchise known as Tomb Raider. The first Tomb raider game was released in 1996 and it has been a well known series even to its latest game 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider'. The Tomb Raider is about a women known as Lara Croft who goes treasure hunting in tombs to find out secrets that she wants to learn but keeping the artifacts in there original place. However, there is a group called Trinity who want to get the artifacts for themselves and take them from their place to either sell or take the artifacts so other explorers can't get them and learn from them.
